Description
The SIG Sauer P229 Legion is a premium compact-size 9mm built around SIG’s proven hammer-fired DA/SA operating system. The first shot operates in double action, while subsequent shots use a lighter single-action trigger pull. A frame-mounted decocking lever safely lowers the hammer without requiring a manual thumb safety.
This Legion model features a black finish, custom checkered G10 grips with Legion medallions, aggressive frontstrap texturing, an undercut trigger guard, and a reduced-profile Elite beavertail that supports a high, controlled grip. SIG’s Legion configuration also includes an enhanced trigger system and high-visibility day/night sights.
The pistol appears to remain in excellent overall condition with minimal visible handling wear. It includes one factory 15-round magazine, the original SIG Sauer hard case, and owner’s manual. The case label identifies this example as model E29R-9-LEGION, serial number 55E041611.
